I can't tell you whether or not to buy it, but if you do decide to buy it take precautions. Make sure you get the seller's information (phone number, address, etc.), and put everything in writing. Write a contract documenting the price you are paying for the phone and include a clause stating that if the phone does not work, the seller agrees to refund all of your money and take back the phone. Then both you and the seller sign it. Even if the phone doesn't work, you'll have a better chance of getting your money back.
