Why was shoelace told to stay after school?

Well, sometimes we make mistakes, just like happy little accidents in our paintings. Shoelace was probably asked to stay after school to talk about what happened and learn from the experience. It's all about growing and improving, like adding a touch of color to make our paintings even more beautiful.
