Can Verizon track your phone if its dead?

If your phone is dead, Verizon cannot track it using GPS or cellular signals, as these features require the device to be powered on. However, if the phone was previously set up with location services, Verizon may have access to its last known location before it lost power. Once the phone is charged and turned back on, it can be tracked again.
