When did the Romans start believing in gods?

The Romans began worshiping their Gods the moment their civilization was established. Remember, the Romans branched from the Greeks and along with them, they adopted their religion. This religion is known as paganism. Before, there was no name for it. The largest living reference to paganism is Hinduism. The religions of the world were all linked together under the same beliefs, and our closest link to them is Hinduism.
