saw the Ong Bak 2 trailer you were talking about These heavy rings are actually worn by a Hung gar practitioner worn on both wrists like weights like gauntlets just attached by chains the Hung Gar Kung fu practioner uses them in horse stance training for strenghthening his wrists on both arms they arn't actually a weapon but the guy in the trailer uses them like that.
