What continent is Ur located in?

Ur was an important Sumerian city-state in ancient southern Mesopotamia, now located at the site of modern Tell el-Muqayyar. It dates from the Ubaid period, around 3800 BC. Bible scholars disagree about whether Abraham came from Ur or another similarly-named city. Ur would be on the continent of Asia.
