If you have to bathe your rabbit, only use shampoos that are made for, ideally, rabbits; a shampoo made for cats can be okay, too. Look for natural ingredients, high-quality. Oatmeal shampoos are good.
Never use a shampoo made for humans on a rabbit. Even baby shampoo can irritate a rabbit's sensitive skin. Even low-quality shampoos made for dogs (with harsh, artificial ingredients) can irritate a rabbit's sensitive skin.
Do not use leave-in fur conditioners or other spray-on, leave-in cleansers. Only use a traditional shampoo: the type you lather with water and rinse completely away.
Healthy rabbits bathe themselves. If your rabbit needs a bath, something is wrong: bring him or her to a rabbit-savvy vet who can determine the cause and, if necessary, provide treatment.
