When did John F Kennedy and Jacqueline Bouvier get married?

They were married on September 12, 1953, at St. Mary's Church in Newport, Rhode Island. The mass was celebrated by Archbishop Richard J. Cushing of Boston, a close friend of the Kennedy family. Ten years later, as Cardinal Cushing, he presided over President Kennedy's funeral mass at St. Matthew's Cathedral in Washington.
