Science aims to find answers through elimination of all other possibilities. Which is why you rarely, if ever, find a scientific truth. It is almost always a theory or theorm. A more practical answer is science aims to progress the collective knowledge of humanity. Whether it be in Biology, chemistry, math, or psycology ect.
