How do you program a 2005 vw toureg key fob?

To program a 2005 VW Touareg key fob, first, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. Within 10 seconds, press and hold the "Unlock" button on the key fob while turning the ignition back to "Off." Release the "Unlock" button and press it again within 30 seconds to complete the programming. If successful, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm the new fob is programmed.
