What kind of person was st Stephen?

St. Stephen was considered a devout follower of Jesus and one of the first Christian martyrs. He was described as bold in his faith and preaching, as well as being full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit. His steadfastness in the face of persecution and his forgiveness towards his persecutors exemplify his character.
