Can you kayak from Florida to the Bahamas?

That trip would be very strenuous and probably not possible for an experienced kayaker in one day. Most likely it has been done, though. The distance from the Florida mainland (near West Palm Beach) to the closest part of the islands is about 70 miles. That is a huge distance.
