Did Emily Davison want to die?

in my honest opinion, i don't think she intended on dieing. my reason being is that, she was carrying a little purse, in there was a diary, and she had appointments for the next week, she also had in there a return train ticket which she was going to use after the derby...but this was just not to be.:(i think that she did not intend to kill her-self but simply put the flag on the horse and was a prostest that when trageially wrong rip Emily davison
