When did retiro park open to the public?

Retiro Park (Parque del Buen Retiro) in Madrid, Spain, officially opened to the public in 1868. Originally a royal park, it was opened to the public after the Glorious Revolution of that year, which led to the abdication of Queen Isabella II. The park has since become one of Madrid's most popular recreational areas.
