What characteristics does a mythical creature have to have before myth experts classify it as a vampire?

In the common sense, the vampire model is described with these characteristic features:

(s)he...

- lives in the night, sleeps during the day

- has no shadow

- drinks blood

- beautiful and venomous

- fears from garlic

- fears from crucifix and christian religion

- is burnt by silver

- is burnt in sunlight

- lives forever

- reads your thoughts

However, a vampire only need to have a majority of these characteristics to be a vampire. For example, if all of those characteristics are met, but instead of being "beautiful and venomous" is "ugly and non-venomous", it would still be a vampire.
