Can paramedics have ear gauges

Being a retired first responder I can tell you that most departments don't have an issue with simple ear lobe jewellery. So long as the piercings or stretched lobes are not too "out there" you should be fine. But if you haven't done the stretching yet I would check with your watch commander first to see if there are any issues from the side before doing anything. The issue may come from using an SCBA, not that you would ever have to use one but one never knows. If the jewellery impairs the SCBA's ability to properly seal around your face then there may be an issue. It ultimately all about your safety.
