What do you do if you think your cat is pregnant?

If you do end up taking a cat to the pound make sure it is a no kill shelter. Before ever deciding to take anything to a pound search your area or surrounding areas for rescue centers there are rescue centers for cats and dogs everywhere and they do not kill them.

If you do not want your cat to have kittens take her to a vet who will spay her whether she is pregnant or not. They charge a little more because the surgery is more difficult. Female cats can get pregnant almost as soon as they have a litter.
