How long did Kobe play for The New Orleans Hornets?

Kobe Bryant never played for the New Orleans Hornets. He was drafted by the Hornets as the 13th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft but was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers shortly after. He spent his entire 20-year NBA career with the Lakers.
