What religion is the house of night based on?

Well most of it comes from Pagan and some Wicca beliefs, however there is also some Native American influence and Nyx is a Greek goddess (which can be connected to the pagan part or not.)

Over all though it is really almost it's own religion in that like most real religions they alter lots of existing beliefs to make their own.
