They don't have to gain a lot of weight, especially if the litter is not large. It is also usually harder to palpate when the litter is small since the kits have more room to "hide" and be displaced when you try to locate them. Don't mess with her feed, that is a great way to cause her to loose the litter.
At this point, I would assume that she is bred and get a box in with her at what you think is day 26 or so. If she hasn't had them by day 34, she wasn't bred. At that point you can get her changed over to your feed and try again.
Remember when changing feed to not do it "cold turkey!" Start the bowl out with 100% old feed. On day one, mix in about 15% new feed. On day 2, add more new feed so it is about 70% old/30% new and mix. Continue to 55/45 on day 3, 30/70 on day 4 and 15/85 on day 5. Assuming she is eating well on day 5, shift to all new. If she is rebelling in the early stages, slow down the mix in some to lengthen the change over.
