Which of them is needed for interior design -science or commerce?

Hi, to become an Interior Designer you need to pursue a course in Interior Design. This career can be pursued from any stream therefore please choose subjects that you are comfortable with . However some of the skills required to flourish in this career are -Visual sensitivity, color sense, an idea of lighting and decoration, Artistic, creative and imaginative flair, Good listeners, and deep insight into the client's needs, Ability to keep abreast of latest styles and industry trend, strong interpersonal, communication and management skills, Sound technical knowledge with regard to architecture, infrastructure and lightings, Some business acumen and a fair idea about budgeting. A career in Interior Design can be explored after XII (any stream), as a two to three year diploma course in interior years of diploma. Many part time and one year diploma courses are also available. Some private institutes, too, offer certifications in interior designing. The 4 years Bachelor of fine Arts (BFA) programme offersspecialization in Interior Design. Class XII (PCM) is required for a five year course in Interior Design at CEPT, Ahmedabad only. Entry isthrough an admission test. This is the only 5-year professional course in interior design in India. Aspirants need to have qualified their 10+2 examination, with an average of 55% in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology.
