What is environmental sustainability discuss?

Environmental Sustainability refers to a term that can be used to refers to the amount of Natural Resources used by man kind against the amount we have available to us naturally.

For ex, a lot of trees get cut every day to satisfy mans need for Wood but not many new trees are planted everyday. This means that in a few years from now, we may not have too many trees in the wild. This is unsustainable usage of natural resources.

Nature is and cannot keep up to the pace that man is using up its resources.

Sustainability is a term that is used to help nature refill or replenish its resources.

Ex: Fishing villages in some parts of India do not fish for a few months of the year. This is to let the ocean replenish its fish population. If people keep fishing year round in the same area, they might drain the area off all its fishes and may not sustain the fishermen in the area. Hence, they take a break for a few months to let nature replenish itself.

This is called Sustained fishing.
