What is meant by 'metrosexual'?

Metrosexual is a term that is used to describe a guy who is straight, but cares a whole lot about his appearance. Imagine a guy who is always clean, fresh smelling, smoothly shaved, and spends just as much if not more money and time picking out his outfits and shoes. You could also think of it as a guy that stereotypically seems very gay, but sexually is straight.
