What shorts go good with a black shirt?

I would say the best color shorts or even pants if you can find them to wear with a black or grey shirt is white. White shorts look great with about every color, but it is hard to match a black shirt with other colors like brown, grey, or black. Dark on dark usually too appealing to the eye unless your trying to go goth, lol.
