How many speeding points can you get on your license before it is suspended in Maryland?

if you get 8-11 points the mva will suspend your license and if you hit 12 boom...your license will be revoked. I'm in the same situation and ending up with total 10 points. lets hope the judge is nice and let go of most of my points.
