How is twenty to 4 shown on a digital clock?

A 24 hour clock depicts the hour of the day followed by the number of minutes past that hour in the format hh:mm

Twenty to four would be displayed in one of two ways depending on whether it is AM or PM

for AM it would be 03:40

for PM it would be 15:40
