How do you replace a polaris sportsman 500 starter motor. Does the clutcfh need to be romoved?

no remove the air box and use open end 10mm. lower bolt will set in the hole when reinstalling

no remove the air box and use open end 10mm. lower bolt will set in the hole when reinstalling. sand oxidized aluminum hole where starter goes into and coat with grease if having trouble getting it in place.
