When was the Hindenburg blimp built?

First of all the Hindenberg, or Lz-l29 Luftschiff Zeppelin l29 built in l934 in commercial operation between l936-37 destroyed in fatal fire at Lakehurst, was NOT a Blimp, She was a rigid airship or Zeppelin, in the literal sense of the term with a sheet metal framework and outer skin. ( this was clealry alluded to in the movie (Hindenberg). She was 803 feet long and displaced over 242 tons- more than a PRR Electric locomotive. I doubt a present day Goodyear Blimp weighs more than say a l6-ton Mack truck. The LZ-l29 was built in Friedrichshaften, Germany in the winter of l934. I used to collect zeppelin philatelic covers so I know something about these craft.
