Can you go out with an 8TH grader even though you are in the seventh grade?

This is a decision you must make for yourself. However, from experience, let me tell you that dating at such a young age is unwise. Although you are old enough now to assume many responsibilities and freedoms, if I were you, I would leave dating for a later time. In 7th grade, dating is nothing more than a status. It is too easy to turn it into a silly game much less a meaningful relationship. I even doubt the validity of high school relationships. Half the time it seems like people date just to say they are. And if you are lucky enough to find someone who really genuinely likes you for your personality and the essence of who you are, not the physical or appearance-related aspect of a relationship, your relationship will be made even sweeter by being friends and waiting to date. Then you will learn to respect each other and learn more about each other without the pressure and expectations of a dating relationship.
