Why did Lenin admire Stalin?

After years of abuse of power by monarchs, many people were in favor of worker and peasant rights, and viewed the Bolshevik takeover of Russia favorably. Some, who were students of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, looked forward to the a time of change when workers would become the rulers, and believed the worker revolution would continue around the world.
