Agree that Texas has super good fishing. Many arguments could also be presented for any of the coastal states as well as NY and CA. CA certainly has a lot of bragging rights for the most fish in the 20 pound range for the past several years.

Illinois has the most consistant Largemouth and smallmouth bass weight. Average Largemouth weighs 6.7 Lbs and the average smallmouth weighs 3.9 Lbs.
