How long does it take for new male guinea pig to get along with a female guinea pig?

Not very long as long as you give it some attention every day, Our guinea pig listens to our voices. He knows which family members play with him and he squeals to them whenever they come near. Take him/her out of the cage a play with him/her every day for a half hour or so every day. Our guinea pig makes little purring-like noises when he is happy.
