What is the best way to ask someone to a dance?

Hi, [....]. There's a dance Friday night. Would you like to go with me? get a poster, draw flames and write on it come on baby light my fire, come to the dance with me. then buy lots and lots of matches. write your name on one match and give it to some one who lives with them. spread the remaining matches around there room(make sure there not strike anywhere matches!) and write on the bottom of the poster find the match with my name.
