How do you Reset maint req light on Scion XB 2008?

checked if the display on your odometer says trip a, if not then set it to trip a, then turn off the ignition, then press the odometer reset button, and turn ignition to the on position, you will see 5 blinking dashes that will disappear one by one, hold this position until you see the display go back to the numbers read at trip a, otherwise if you press a little longer it will clear the mileage indicated.
