Is spontanious and outgoing the same thing?

Spontaneous and outgoing are not the same, though they can overlap. Spontaneous refers to acting on impulse or without premeditation, while outgoing describes someone who is sociable and enjoys interacting with others. A person can be spontaneous without being outgoing, such as deciding to take a last-minute trip alone. Conversely, an outgoing person may plan their social activities but still engage energetically with others.
