How do you take a screenshot on a MacBook?

On a MacBook, it is not necessary to have additional software to take a screenshot. Command + Shift + 3 will capture the entire screen, whereas Command + Shift + 4 will allow you to drag and capture only a portion of the screen. The screenshots are automatically saved on the desktop. Others use tools such as ScreenRec when they want screenshots to be saved with recordings or share them faster, whereas others use Preview or Lightshot to make quick edits.
