Do woodlice see in colour

They can't see at all they're blind the use smell as a form of finding their way around. Woodlice are in fact not blind, we know this as they are negatively phototaxic. This means that they move away from a light source to try and reach darkness to avoid predators telling us that they can see. However, they only have 25 individual ocelli - therefore although they can see, it is unlikely that they can see very high resolution or in colour - and are likely to only see large moving objects, and use their ocelli primarily to detect changes in light intensity.
