Is it bad if your brother touches you when your little?

well, when i was 7 my oldest brother "touched" me til i was 8.....i havent told any adult.....it could mess yu up pretty bad.....i have self esteem issues and i sometimes beat my self about the situation. i think that it was all my fault that my brother did what he did. im too afraid to talk to adults about it.
