How do you load roll caps into a cap gun?

1. slide the gun open
2. place the roll on the small metal peg in the gun with the end of the roll towards the muzzle and pointing down
3. thread the end of the roll between the back of the gun and the small metal plate inside the gun (both located just forward of the hammer)
4. pull the trigger a couple of times to feed the strip through
