Who makes more a nurse or surgical tech?

There are two types of nurses RN's (registered nurses) and LPN's/LVN's (licensed pracitcal nurses). RN's usually start out around 24.50 dollars an hour while LPNs start out aroung 17.00 dollars. A surgical tech is like a patient care tech but they specialize in the surgical area by setting up sterile feilds assisting the DR by handing him/her sterile equip etc. Starting out they make around 13.00 an hour. This is in New Mexico and remember this is base pay for a novice with little to minimal experience.
