What is the waist inches in mens jeans size 40?

From researching the same question, I'm almost sure it is a size 14 (U.K).

Although depending on the brand all shops differ slightly with there sizes.

One size 14 may fit you from Next perfectly, yet another pair from New Look may feel smaller or bigger. Always worth trying some on from the different shops you buy from and maybe keeping a record, which will make ordering the perfect size online alot easier.
