Is NIT warangal a naxal prone area?

NIT Warangal is situated in a naxal prone area(Red corridor) but I think naxalism in campus has become very less.In the 60s to 70s it was a hot bed of naxal activity.I heard that used to gun firing and walls in campus had bullet marks.Hope somebody who lived in that time can confirm.
