Is there actually a lost city of Atlantis?

Some people believe Atlantis existed, but was destroyed and is now under water, but I personally don't think that it existed.

Since I am from ATLANTIS not Atlantic I have to say : in old greek text it states that the city of osami (the sea) was destroyed by the forces of a great eruption and all ships were lost that had set sail from the port that day. A man with blue patterns on his skin was found the next stating his city had been destroyed by the orange liquid and his family had died he was the only one left he died the next day . So who really knows if there was a city or dragons or the true existence of life if you can awnser that the you must be burnt alive for you sir are not human.
