How do you fly up in minecraft iPad 2?

To starting flying, quickly double-tap the jump button while on the ground. To fly up, hold the jump button and quickly slide your finger up to the foward arrow. If you hold the jump button and quickly slide it to the back arrow, then you can fly downwards. Quickly double-tapping the jump button while in the air will send you immediately back to the ground.
