How do you give penguins items on Club Penguin?

First ask them to be your buddy.If they say yes click on your buddy list.Click on the one you want.Then their card will show up.On the bottom there will be 7 icons, remove buddy, find, visit igloo, give, send mail, ignore player and report player.Click on give.Then choose something from you inventory.(you can't give belts or the ninja mask or trophies or awards).
