How do you get a ghost in animal crossing?

1. First buy the ghost painting at the store.

2. Hang it up in a room, preferebly your own.

3. The ghost will help you when you are calming down someone, cheering someone up etc.

4. If you want to get rid of the ghost, take the painting down.

Some people say you can also vaccum it up, others say you can only have a ghost when Frankie Fussili is booked in, but I'm not sure. Hope this helps!
