Can you leave town on sims 3?

If you want to leave town on sims, you go either online and go to travel, or you go to your cell phone, and click on 'tavel'. then you could go to Egypt, china, or France (i think those are the 3) to take a vacation... im in Egypt right now!!(: i<3sims!(:
