What the mountain that next to Caspian Sea?

Along the western and southern shores of the Caspian Sea, there are mountains (specifically the Caucasus, Alish, and Elburz Mountain Ranges going counterclockwise), but on the northern and eastern shores of the Caspian Sea, there are lowlands, some which are below sea-level.
