How do you set the timing on a 1994 Suzuki Sidekick?

like most old cars. run till hot set idle to spec. connect timing light to 12v, ground and clamp to front #1 spark plug. then at the diagnostic connector (near right hand HLight) short test pin to ground. ( this tells ECU to freeze advance rules). pin 4 to 5 out of 6 pins total. then check timing by flashing the strobe to the front of damper pully and marks. usually some where between 4-6 degrees.at 750-850 rpm. It is usually stated on the EPA sticker under hood. baring that go to suzuki.forum and check there or get a haynes or chilton manual. good day
