Is alchemy the thing of the devel?

well it depends on what u believe, its more like science but ur using science to achieve the impossible and in some religions, its the impossible because god does not want us to have that power/ability, so in some religions it is, but so far i havent heard anything bad against alchemy, or any riots against them.
